In a significant stride towards improving non-emergency ambulance service provision, Mersey Medical Services Ltd has announced the launch of its new Patient Transport Service supporting the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust in delivering their current contracts across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and Lancashire, promising to enhance NWAS' non-emergency ambulance provision across these regions.

The relationship signifies a commitment to providing seamless and efficient transportation for patients requiring non-emergency medical transport. With a focus on enhancing patient experience and ensuring timely access to healthcare facilities, this collaboration is poised to make a profound impact on communities throughout the region.

One of the key highlights of the contract is our recruitment, doubling our full-time workforce with staff members dedicated to delivering exceptional service. These individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the team, further strengthening the quality of care provided to patients.

Moreover, Mersey Medical Services Ltd has made a substantial investment of £300,000 into acquiring state-of-the-art vehicles specifically designed to meet the unique needs of non-emergency medical transportation. These new vehicles are fully equipped to ensure maximum comfort and safety for patients during transit.

Commenting on the launch, Dr Joshua Masheder, our Operations Director expressed enthusiasm about the  potential to raise the standard of patient transport services in the region. "We are thrilled to embark on this journey with the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust. By combining our resources and expertise, we aim to set a new benchmark for private ambulance providers, ensuring that patients receive the care and support they need, when they need it."

The launch of the new Patient Transport Service contract represents a significant milestone in the ongoing  growth of the company's ambulance services division and the services provided across the North West region.

We're pleased to announce the launch of our new website! Since our company was founded in 2016, we have grown from strength to strength, initially we started as an event medical provider servicing events local to the North West, mainly Greater Manchetser, Lancashire, Merseyside and Derbyshire. Since then we've grown covering some of the UK's largest festivals!

Our TV / Productions team has also grown in that time, from small one day shoots to largescale producitons not just in the UK but as far as South Africa! 

Last year saw our first CQC inspection, we were proudly rated as good! This saw our services grow, with contracts providing none-emergency patient transport services as well as emergency patient transport services to the NHS. 

This year has seen the launch of our secure transport services, with our crews support mental health trusts up and down the country!

One thing that has been neglected, was our website! It started to look very dated a long time ago, that's why we're proud to launch our new website that showcases where we our now as a company.
